LONE TREE, CO, October 09, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kids do not jump out of planes, so skydiving competitors have never had to worry about kids, but now a brother and sister team are giving some of the world's best adult teams a run for their money not in the sky, but in specially designed vertical wind tunnels.

For the first time, adults who will compete at the upcoming national indoor skydiving competition may face elimination by some amazing children who are dominating indoor body flight. These amazing kids are inspiring other kids all over the world to take up this exciting new sport.

Kayla Tinucci, 12, and her brother Justin Tinucci, 9, are the only kids professional free fly team in the world, and they compete against adults. They call themselves "Team Future," because they represent the future of skydiving.

Last year at this same competition, the brother and sister team won silver and bronze medals, beating out adult teams with years of skydiving experience.

In March they placed 6th at the World Challenge at Body Flight Bedford, England. In May they broke the Guinness World Record for the longest indoor free fall.

The next challenge for Team Future comes this week on Oct. 11 and 12 at the Throw Down the Gauntlet Tunnel Competition at SkyVenture in Eloy, AZ where they will go up against some of the best in the world. They will face adult teams who hold multiple national championship titles. The Tinucci kids say they are ready to take them on, and their coach Daniel Perry says they have a good chance of winning a medal.

"Justin and Kayla can fly better than adults who have been skydiving for more years than their combined ages. They have only been flying for two years, and they are ready to take on the best in the world," said Perry.

In addition to training at the SkyVenture Colorado vertical wind tunnel in Lone Tree four times a week, the Tinucci kids are not much different from other kids their age. Justin is in the 5th grade and Kayla is in the 7th grade. They both play on soccer teams, and love to play video games.

Justin and Kayla have already received national attention with appearances on Good Morning America, ABC World News, CBS The Early Show, as well as local programs and news stories which can be seen on their web site at http://www.Team-Future.net

Interviews with photo and video opportunities are available this week by advance arrangement prior to the competition in Eloy. The competition will take place at SkyVenture Arizona, 4900 N. Taylor Road, Eloy. Sample video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFjYAthyLpY
