Kim L. Croft, MSEM, MBA, Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Process Improvement

Kim Croft has been honored with multiple awards during the course of her career



    ORLANDO, FL, August 2, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kim L. Croft, Supply Chain Program Manager for Northrop Grumman, was selected as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in process improvement.

With 18 years of experience in industrial design engineering and material management, Ms. Croft has distinguished herself for her expertise in sundry aspects of her profession, from efficient business processes, continuous improvement and project management to inventory, risk mitigation and materials planning. She draws on this diverse skill set in her third year as supply chain program manager for Northrop Grumman. In this capacity, Ms. Croft is responsible for monitoring operations, implementing supply chain and risk mitigation practices, planning capacity strategies, overseeing material management, and performing budgetary reporting.

Blessed with a career filled with highlights, Ms. Croft is often struck by how a simple change can impact efficiency and level of output — not to mention quality of work life. She considers quickly identifying areas of need and addressing them by creating and implementing changes to be extremely gratifying. Her array of recognitions demonstrates the esteem with which she is viewed by her peers. During the course of her career, Ms. Croft has been honored with three Continuous Improvement Awards between 2008 and 2010; three TAP Awards, in 2006, 2010, and 2011; induction into the International Honor Society for Business Administration in 2009; an Optim Award in 1987; a George Westinghouse Signature Award in 1986; and two Commitment to Excellence Awards. She attributes her success to her commitment and perseverance.

Ms. Croft is pursuing a Ph.D. She earned an MBA, with an emphasis on engineering and technology organization, in 2009 from Northcentral University, a Master of Science in engineering management from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor's degree in industrial design from Western Michigan University. She is a member of Delta Mu Delta and Mensa International. In the coming years, Ms. Croft looks forward to expanding her department's logistics operations.
