/24-7PressRelease/ - BRIGHTON, UK, April 05, 2006 - Harrison, a partner with Kineo, the leading e-learning consultancy, recently led a consultation process with over 100 of the UK's leading learning professionals as part of the UK global network of ASTD. The mission was to identify the characteristics of the most successful learning organisations. Four major traits emerged: Alignment, Effectiveness, Efficiency and Sustainability.
This week sees the publication of Kineo's free briefing on efficiency. It identifies the six steps a learning professional can take to make learning more efficient in their organisation, from focusing on high value areas to delivering cost-effective blended learning solutions.
Harrison commented, "Ultimately, efficiency without effectiveness is pointless and vice versa - both represent the key components in achieving a return on investment from your training spend. So if you want to be efficient, you need to focus on those areas where the return will be greatest."
This is the third briefing in the series and follows others on Alignment and Effectiveness.

Kineo also examines other aspects of efficiency this month, from "Blink", to Life Hacks, and (perhaps a little more soberly) the Gershon report - and examine what these ideas could mean for efficiency in learning.
