21st annual Los Angeles Music Award for 'Best Dance Electronica Artist' of the year. This marks the 5th consecutive LAMA award for artist
Kris Searle. The award is shared with
TMAC (Troy Macfarland) producer of this award-winning album
'Dawn of Momentum' soon to be released.

'FFYL' (Falling for Your Light) today on

Kris Searle - having been honored to receive awards from the
Los Angeles Music Awards judges, comprised of top music professionals, fellow artists and fans for the
last 5 years - is ecstatic, but as stated by the artist himself: "This award is extra special for me as it marks the launch of my new breakaway sound in my upcoming album
-Dawn of Momentum-." Searle goes on to say, "As a singer/songwriter, this has allowed me a creative transference of my acoustic-rock sound into the expansive world of 'electro-pop', which creatively for me has been incredibly inspirational."
The independent music awards show attracted over
150 media outlets this year including
FOX News Channel 11, Channel 5 KTLA, E news, LA Times, numerous radio outlets, many of which were in attendance on awards night November 10th, 2011. Continuing, Searle stated, "As a recipient I was fortunate enough to meet one of the industries all-time great producers and a true hero of mine,
Keith Olsen, along with
Alex Al, bass player for
Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and
Christina Aguilera. This event inspires young artists, such as myself, and guides them into the professional world. It was fun hanging with
Booboo Stewart from the
Twilight saga 'Breaking Dawn', as I walked the red carpet with
Mama G of 'Punked out Polos', herself an
Emmy award-winning producer."
