Kristen Jordan, Ph.D., Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Pharmaceutical Development

    WINSTON-SALEM, NC, December 14, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristen G. Jordan, Ph.D., Co-Founder of Biolucidation, LLC, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in preclinical research for pharmaceutical development.

Dr. Jordan is an accomplished behavioral pharmacologist and manager with 20 years of experience in preclinical behavioral research and 12 in the pharmaceutical industry. She, along with three of her colleagues, is launching Biolucidation, LLC, a new contract research organization focused on mitigating behavioral risks, including abuse liability, associated with centrally active novel or existing pharmaceuticals. While devoting her energies to the scientific oversight and daily operations of the company, Dr. Jordan draws on her expertise in project leadership, behavioral laboratory startup, insourcing and outsourcing research projects, scientific writing, and management.

Dr. Jordan holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, which she earned in 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Virginia. From 1999 to 2001, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Boston University. Dr. Jordan has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of both the Society for Neuroscience and The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. She attributes her success to her excellent mentors and hard work through the years. In the near future, Dr. Jordan looks to establish a good foundation for Biolucidation with excellence in customer service and to expand internationally.
