LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, June 19, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As digital media has been gaining a bigger share of the marketing budget, research by Magna Global forecast that digital media will draw more advertising spending than TV by 2018. For 2014, Magna Global expects digital media advertising to increase by more than 14%.
In a second study by independent ad firm Domus Inc, 64% of marketers surveyed revealed their companies suffer from 'digital dysfunction'; uncertainty about how to best integrate digital strategies into the marketing mix. The Domus study found that 91% of marketers surveyed believe companies need better methods to measure the business impact of digital marketing and social media. The study added that 84% of business owners said companies need to achieve more with their digital marketing, including increasing a return on investment from social media. With digital advertising spending expected to reach a record $137.53 billion in 2014 the only thing growing faster than digital marketing investment is marketers' uncertainty about what they are getting for their money.
