/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Trainco Truck Driving School (www.traincoinc.com), serving the Greater Lansing community since 2007, has moved from Logan Square in South Lansing to larger facilities at 2200 South Washington Avenue. The relocation is part of Trainco's expansion program to fill more jobs in the region.
With its new privately fenced seven acres of freshly paved asphalt, and attached classroom, lobby and garage facilities, Trainco is Lansing's ideal training center for tomorrow's professional truck drivers.
Students pursuing a commercial driver's license (CDL) receive day or evening classroom and on-the-road instruction in such skills as driving maneuvers, urban, rural and interstate driving, logbook maintenance, route planning, stress management and road rage control. "As with all Trainco Schools," said Lansing Campus Manager Randy Turco, "if we find a student having difficulty during their training or in making the grade with the CDL road exam at first pass, we're always willing to give them that little extra (at no additional charge) to get them ready. Every person learns at a different pace and we're here to help. Also, our job placement record after they finish is nearly perfect. We were at 93% last year, even in this region's challenging economy."
There is no shortage of jobs for Trainco's graduates. The school's required annual Student Training Report for the Department of State shows that most are working in the field within 90 days of graduation.
Established 1996 in Perrysburg, Ohio, Trainco has five locations across Southern Michigan and Northwest Ohio. All offer low-fee, high-quality training programs. In Michigan the schools engage with Michigan Works! regarding course funding and employment.
