Las Vegas Tourist Numbers on the Rise, Reports DialAFlight

    LONDON, ENGLAND, January 06, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Las Vegas tourist industry is showing healthy signs of recovery during times of economic worry, reports DialAFlight, one of the UK's leading travel operators. Over 39 million people visited the city throughout 2011 - only the second time tourist numbers have ever reached such levels.

With such encouraging figures published by the Las Vegas Convention and Tourist Authority (LVCTA), DialAFlight fully expects tourism to continue to increase well into the New Year, recently announcing the availability of more flights to Las Vegas for 2012.

According to datum published by the LVCTA, tourist numbers in the city have been rising consecutively for 19 months. The agency suggests these results defy current national trends, whereby other leading American tourist destinations are struggling to bolster tourism numbers. The LVCTA strongly believes current economic worries are having an adverse effect on the American tourist industry as a whole, this despite Las Vegas' apparent growth.

DialAFlight seem less surprised by Las Vegas' recent popularity, suggesting that perceptions of the city are slowly changing and that more and more families are now choosing to holiday in city than ever before.
