/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) in Cardiff is preparing to welcome Classic FM for the very first time on Monday March 12th, when a special concert showcasing top musicians is due to take place.
Held in the Donald Gordon Theatre, Classic FM Live is set to feature the likes of star cellist Julian Lloyd-Webber and Welsh tenor Wynne Evans.
Lloyd-Webber will appear alongside the Philharmonia Orchestra for a complete performance of the Elgar Cello Concerto, as well as an extract from a new piece composed and conducted by Karl Jenkins.
The evening, which is also set to include a performance by talented young violinist Chloe Hanslip, will be hosted by Classic FM presenters John Suchet and Margherita Taylor.
Tickets for the concert are priced between GBP20 and GBP45, depending on whereabouts in the auditorium people choose to sit. The event is due to begin at 19:30 GMT.
