/24-7PressRelease/ -- Van Halen are preparing for two concerts at New York City's Madison Square Garden following the release of their first album in 14 years.
Available to buy from February 7th, the new LP is called A Different Kind of Truth and marks the return of original singer David Lee Roth.
Roth rejoined the chart-topping heavy rock group for an arena tour in 2007 following the departure of Sammy Hagar and the vocal powerhouse has now recorded new material with his bandmates for the first time since 1984.
The resultant 13-track LP is also the first Van Halen record to feature Wolfgang Van Halen, the 20-year-old son of guitarist and founding member Eddie Van Halen, on bass guitar.
Fans of the band can see them live at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday February 28th and Thursday March 1st. Tickets for both shows are available online from $72 (GBP45).
The reunited group are expected to showcase their new songs, as well as performing classic tracks such as Jump, Hot for Teacher, Unchained and So This Is Love?
Support will be provided by funk and soul legends Kool & the Gang.
