Set to take place on August 21st 2010, the event has been organised by the African Communities Association as part of the celebrations for Seniors Week 2010, which gets underway on August 14th.
Across Queensland, a whole host of activities have been planned as part of the seven-day occasion - including garden parties, dances and lunches - in a bid to promote a positive attitude towards aging.
It is also hoped that such events will encourage elderly people in the state to lead a more active lifestyle.

The day will get started at 12:00 and will run until 15:00 local time.
