/24-7PressRelease/ -- Movie fans may want to be in Turin during April as the annual GLBT Film Festival is set to show some of the finest flicks of the year made by or about gay people.
This is the 25th edition of the event and should offer plenty of insight into the current film industry, as well as offering retrospectives of some important figures in the GLBT scene.

accommodation in Turin from April 15th to 22nd will have the chance to see short films documentaries, as well as full features relating to gay and lesbian issues.
One of the more provocative exhibitions to be shown at the festival is On the Pornofront, which will showcase the "erotic and heretical" films of Maria Beatty, who has starred as an actress, director, producer and screenwriter of many iconic films in the lesbian erotic genre.
A full programme of films and where they will be shown are set to be posted on the festival's website, but other highlights to watch out for are a selection of Canadian director Patricia Rozema and 70s actress Holly Woodlawn.
"The subject of 2010 LGBT International Art is: I am like I am," explained the website. "We are looking for artists who want to call into question and "deconstruct" the concept of gender."
