As deputy superintendent, Dr. St. Gean is in charge of overseeing all facets of the district including: curriculum and instruction; information technology; human resources; fiscal operations; and facilities. Dr. St. Gean has extensive experience as a classroom teacher, high school principal and deputy superintendent in a large urban district.

Dr. St. Gean is a member of the Association of California School Administrators and Phi Delta Kappa International. In 2010, Dr. St. Gean received her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Policy, from Pepperdine University.
