Learn How To Use Marketing As An Entrepreneur as part of the BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards "In Conversation" Webisodes

Guest speakers Phil Bliss (Managing Partner & Chief Strategy Officer, Perceptible) and Doug Checkeris (President & Co-Founder, UnReel Gaming).

TORONTO, ON, June 12, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards web series has ended, but the journey of the entrepreneurs competing continues as they strive for an extended 6-month Membership at BrightLane and the potential to win $15,000.

As part of their Membership at BrightLane, our entrepreneurs can learn from mentors at In Conversation sessions, featuring established entrepreneurs sharing their experiences in various industries and on varying topics (investment, marketing etc.). After each session, BrightLane talks with two competitors to update viewers on their progress in the BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards and in their own business initiatives.

The second In Conversation webisode focuses on the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives for entrepreneurs. The guest speakers for this webisode are Phil Bliss (Managing Partner & Chief Strategy Officer, Perceptible) and Doug Checkeris (President & Co-Founder, UnReel Gaming). With experience marketing several startups, small and medium sized businesses, Phil and Doug bring a variety of methodologies to share with the competitors in order to help them improve their current marketing objectives and strategies.

BrightLane interviewed two of the competitors to see how their business has progressed while competing in the BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards. Celine Williams (Founder. reVisionary) recounts her time at BrightLane, "I had a big idea for my business, and I knew that one piece of it was the longer term and I was really stuck in trying to get it going in the shorter term. Being at BrightLane was really helpful for that because we have access to great mentors. Now I have a lot more clarity." When asked if the community experience at BrightLane has helped, Ron Spreeuwenberg (Co-Founder and CEO, HiMama) replied "It's been great to speak to some of those people who are stronger in areas that haven't been my focus; marketing is the perfect example. There are entrepreneurs that are here, whose focus is on marketing and I've had the opportunity to pick their brain."
