Lee Fou Messica Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in the Performing Arts

    PARIS, FRANCE, December 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lee Fou Messica, Artistic Director of Les Dechargeurs, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the performing arts.

A lover of theater, Ms. Messica has 22 years of experience in performing arts, with 15 years as director and artistic director of Les Dechargeurs. She primarily focuses on performing arts and theater, managing productions from the creation stage to opening night. On the administrative side of the business, she is responsible for developing policy, as well as marketing the theater's operations.

Ms. Messica attributes her success to her curiosity and thirst for learning, as well as her attitude toward theater, which she considers to be the epicenter of creative actions and as a resource base essential to the development of the artist and his work. Each artistic expression is the sign of a personality. Her studies from high school to college confirmed her decision to focus her career on the theater arts. Ms. Messica is a Baccalaureate A1 of lettres et mathematiques. She first earned a diploma of general university studies in sciences and communications from Universite Paris X in 1990; then she received a licence sociologie de la culture from Universite Paris X and started a licence etudes theâtrales from Universite Paris III. She earned a master of "sociologie de la culture" through Universite Paris X in 1992 and became a cultural consultant through the Universite Paris X in 1993. She decided to complete this course with an educational aspect and she received a diploma in preschool education from Fort Valley State College in 1998 and a diploma in Montessori education from the Pan American Montessori Society.

To develop new resources for Les Dechargeurs, Ms. Messica has¬ identified the needs of the theater and created groups to meet those needs. Among these groups are Le Pôle, which specializes in the production of performing arts; Le Pôle diffusion, which focuses on the production and distribution of entertainment; HT Billet, an online web interface; and Le Pôle Media, which handles press and public relations, Web graphics and print services on behalf of the theater. Les Dechargeurs is at the heart of meetings for project funding and administrative support, and it contributes greatly to the artistic culture of France.
