The seminar was a broad introduction to methods of conducting business in China, with the majority of guests involved in mining, trading or engineering related to the mining industry. Approximately 80 were in attendance for the full-day event.
Mr. Metaal had a busy schedule during his trip, lecturing at the following institutions: University of Witwatersrand MBA School, University of Witwatersrand International Relations Department, and University of Cape Town MBA School. Further, he conducted meetings with, among others, Adams & Adams, the F1 organizers for South Africa, Wesgro (Western Cape Development Organization), and ABSA (South African Banking/Barclays).
