/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Jacksonville division of Lennar, one of the nation's leading homebuilders, recently hosted a Realtor Appreciation event at Carlyle & Co. in the St. Johns Town Center to recognize more than 60 local realtors who had sold a Lennar home between March 1 and July 31, 2009.
Lennar Homes presented each realtor that had sold a Lennar home during this time frame with a piece of designer jewelry from Carlyle & Co. Jewelry pieces presented were valued from $1,200 to $1,500.
Four Jacksonville area real estate agents received more than one piece of designer jewelry for selling more than one Lennar home during the time period. Also, real estate agent Phil Pierce, won the grand prize drawing for a Rolex watch valued at $5,000.
"This was an excellent way for our Company to show we truly value the support of local real estate agents and this was an opportunity for us to show our appreciation for their hard work in making us successful in selling Lennar homes to local homebuyers," said Michael Carlo, Vice President of Sales Operations and Land for Lennar's Jacksonville division. "We had the chance to mingle, view exquisite pieces of jewelry and look forward to continuing the momentum of selling more Lennar homes in the upcoming months."
The Jacksonville division of Lennar launched the Realtor Appreciation Program in March 2009 as an encore to the program it ran in 2008. The program is designed to commemorate local real estate agents who have sold a Lennar home during a designated time frame.
