/24-7PressRelease/ -- Adding to the implicit social scene that has come to characterize the Holy Month of Ramadan, and further strengthening ties with the local media, LG Electronics (LGE), recently invited its LGE Media Club members to an eventful entertaining Ramadan Suhur.
Held on 15, September 2008, at the Four Seasons Hotel, the event was attended by Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant Jordan, the Assistant Managing Director for Marketing at the Middle East Complex, Mr. Ghazi Farouq, President of 7Global Mr. Hani Qudsi, and other key figures from LGE and distributors.
Topping the event program was a performance by Jordanian singer Macadi Nahhas who entertained attendees with her especially beautiful, powerful voice and her melodious songs.
The evening also saw the announcement of the winners of the Media Club investigative reporting competition launched last June. The awards, a new LG KF510 Mobile handset from 7Global for each winner, were given to Mr. Marwan Sudah from Al Rai, Mr. Ehab Mujahed from Addustour, Ms. Majda Ashour from Petra, Mr. Ayman Abdul Hafeeth from Addustour, and Ms. Ola Abu Jamous from 7Stars. All media club members who participated in the competition also received Iftar invitations for 2 from the InterContinental Hotel Amman.

The Media club members are very much a part of our LGE family, and we appreciate all the efforts they undergo to make our services and products known to and appreciated by Jordanian customers." explained Mr. Kevin Cha .
"Ramadan presents itself as a time for the spread of good cheer between people. Accordingly, we were inspired to invite the Media to this event. This gathering is only a small token of our appreciation for all what the media does for us at LGE and MEC (Middle East Complex). Together, with their support, we realize LGE's mission for enhancing the lives of our customers", added Mr. Ghazi Farouq.
During the event's proceedings, LGE's management also seized the opportunity to announce to media club members its new program for the current year.
It is important to note that the LGE Media Club was inaugurated in August 2006, and since its launch, it has been very active in organizing entertaining and educational events for the benefit of its members.
