Detailed inventory reports: The system can generate customized reports including any selected data associated with a particular bar-coded item. This eliminates the traditional paper-based, physical print-outs which provided little or no data for missing or mis-shelved volumes, or detailed information on inventory.
Tracking: By scanning materials at a shelf level, a validation file can be generated for complete accountability from the time the material leaves the shelf to when it is finally located in a storage facility.
Opening Day Collection Reports: Upon delivery of a labeled and bar-coded opening day collection, the delivery verification process is simplified by scanning each item as it is unpacked. Validation files are then generated which identify all items received and which also create an exceptions list of missing items.
