The contest, held Thursdays through March 15 on Capitol Lighting's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CapitolLighting1800Lighting, features a video of Vanilla Ice asking a trivia question. Fans are asked to post their answers to the question and the winner with the correct choice will be chosen randomly on Mondays when the answer video is revealed. Winners will receive a "Making Lives Brighter" t-shirt and will be announced on the lighting store's Facbook Page.
The Facebook contest is the latest extension of the "Making Lives Brighter" campaign where Capitol Lighting, together with Vanilla Ice, is working with Habitat for Humanity to collect used lighting fixtures. From now through February 28, 2012, customers can donate their gently used lighting, from metal and glass lamps and ceiling fans to pewter light fixtures and over head lighting pendants, to any Capitol Lighting showroom. Habitat for Humanity will then repurpose the lighting fixtures in one of their new homes or offer them for sale at one of their Re-Stores..
