/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Linda K. Ambard, Physical Education Teacher and Coach at Stetson Elementary School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
As a physical education teacher and coach at Stetson Elementary School, Ms. Ambard is responsible for managing a fitness-activated group of 80 students, teaching physical education and coaching cross country, track and swimming. She also works to get her students excited about literature and aims to teach them how it can affect their future endeavors. Ms. Ambard enjoys being a positive influence on her students' lives and attributes her success to her passion for her profession and to observing her students understanding what they are being taught.
Ms. Ambard received her master's degree in early childhood education from Boise State University in 1986. She is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance, the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the National School Age Care Alliance. She hopes to one day teach at a university overseas.
