- Banning, CA, September 13, 2008, Dr. Linda M. Clark, Women's Ministries Specialist at California Southern Baptist Convention, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of ministries.
With an impressive background in ministry services, Dr. Clark specializes in presenting seminars on leadership skills for women. She is responsible for assisting women in developing leadership abilities. Dr. Clark became involved in her profession because of her passion for helping people. She considers launching the California Leadership Fast Track that helps to develop women with key leadership skills to be the highlight of her career.
A published author, Dr. Clark has written two books based on women's leadership skills entitled "5 Leadership Essentials" and "How to Involve Adults in Missions," and is currently working on her third book entitled "Awaken the Leader in You." She is the 2001 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from California Baptist University and attributes her success to her hard work and her faith in God.
Dr. Clark earned a Ph.D. in Women's Studies from Trinity College in 2005, her Master's Degree in Women's Studies from Trinity College in 2003 and her Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from California Baptist University. She stays current with the trends in her profession by attending conventions and seminars and reading industry-related publications. Dr. Clark feels that women need to establish strong local bases in their churches to support the development of women in their communities. She hopes to become a successful author and teach students at college level.
