Always interested in technology, Ms. Onstot pursued a career in the industry. With 23 years of professional experience and five years in her current position with Dell, she has become an expert in server products, two and one socket towers, change management, communications, and working with small-to mid-sized businesses. As the Power Edge marketing director with Dell, she is responsible for overseeing product management, establishing road maps, developing marketing, product specifications, business strategies and its implementation, managing change management, training employees, educating on the products, building business relationships, traveling nationally and internationally, and making presentations.
Before attaining her current position, Ms. Onstot worked as a general manager at CompUSA and as a server platform marketing director at Dell.
She attributes her success to her love for technology, passion for the industry and working for a great company. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Iowa, and is charitably involved with 4-H, American Cancer Society, and Susan G Komen race for the Cure.
In five years, Ms. Onstot hopes to see the company expand and take on additional software products. In addition, she would like to be in an executive director role.
