Lisa Parker Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

A retired U.S. Army First Sergeant with an extensive background in aviation, Ms. Parker has more than 23 years of professional development experience; and one year of experience as a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist for the Department of Labor. Her daily responsibilities include motivating job seekers, and overseeing veterans transitioning from the military. She attributes her success to her determination, hard work and continued support of her family, friends and colleagues. Ms. Parker became involved in her profession as a result of her desire to support the professional growth of other disabled veterans.

Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science Technology, Ms. Parker is a member of the International Association of Workforce Professionals, the Disabled American Veteran Association, the American Legion Post 283, and the Non-Commissioned Officers Association. In five years, Ms. Parker hopes to continue her growth in the Department of Labor, and obtain the Certification of Employment Interview Professional (CEIP).
