The fairly recent addition of a full blown medical benefit was a great addition. Most recently though, Ameriplan has taken advantage of the obscure process whereby a person can apply directly to the manufactures of pharmaceutical drugs in order to receive their prescription for free.
Most people are unaware that this application process even exist. Now that Ameriplan has added prescription advocacy, what they will do is charge a membership fee and they will do the footwork of helping patients, who qualify, get the prescriptions that they take regularly for free.
