/24-7PressRelease/ - HOLLYWOOD, CA - July 25, 2008 - He's only 22, but Spenser Cohen, has just finished filming his first major music video for American Idol finalist, Ace Young. The video will be appearing on VH-1 and MT-V during mid August.
Cohen just graduated with honors from best film school in the country - USC School of Cinematic Arts. During his time there, Cohen established himself as one of USC's most successful and talented directors, earning the nickname "Little Spielberg."
In addition to his success at USC, Cohen's career as a music video director began his senior year at USC, when American Idol finalist, Ace Young approached him. Ace had seen some of Cohen's short films, and asked him to direct the video for the first single off of his debut album.
"Spenser came with the highest regards and a very experienced eye," Young remembers. "After our first meeting, I was very impressed with not only his work but with how passionate Spenser is with every detail. He cared about my vision as much as I did."
Cohen was recently asked by three major record labels to direct music videos for their artists. Characterized by his aggressive visuals and his ability to obtain brilliant performances from actors, Cohen is quickly establishing himself as one of the industries most sought-after up-and-coming directors.
