Instead of the 3 day weekend that normally takes place in destinations like Riviera Maya, or Puerto Vallarta Mexico, or in Panama City or Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the Chicago Event is just 3 hours.
But in that 3 hours guests can learn exactly what happens during their 3 fun-filled days. Laws changed years ago now allow foreigners to own beachfront property in Mexico through a Bank-Trust. It sounds complicated enough that some won't even consider it, but the boom in coastal real estate proves that many non-Mexicans are learning the process and working with a Mexican lawyer. "The process isn't any more complicated than buying a home in your own town in the US," says Polo Verduzco, Livtopia's head of Marketing who will headline the Chicago Event.
