New research reveals that over the last ten years, the amount of money spent by families in UK towards car financing has increased by 50 per cent.
A total of 1,490.30 is spent by British households on expenditure related to car, including insurance of car and costs maintenance. This is reported by Halifax. Research also reveals that a good number of consumers are taking out personal loans to finance their car purchase.
Almost 25 per cent of loans taken by British male were used for bearing the expenditure of car purchasing. In compared to that, one personal loan out of seven taken out by female consumers was used to buy a new car. Some others are there who take bad credit new car loan, as their credit record is not impressive.
Ian Larkin of Halifax unsecured personal loans told that buying a car was probably the second biggest purchase anybody would ever make, after buying a house, so it was important to consider how they intended to finance that and chose a product most suited to their needs.
