BALTIMORE, MD, August 20, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Natasha Brown-Wainwright, a gourmet artisan brittle and candy maker and owner of Natasha's Just Brittle (NJB) has partnered with Michae'lle C. Roundtree owner of Mike & Lola's and Jeffrey Baker of Lisa's Cafe to launch an IndieGoGo campaign to secure funding for B'More Sweetery Kitchens.
The B'More Sweetery Kitchens will be located at 7850 Rossville Boulevard, Suite #216, Baltimore, MD 21236. The building will be comprised of two licensed certified kitchens and three mini boutiques with artisan vendors selling a variety of delectable sweets that appeal to a large demographic thus attracting a substantial crowd from the local area.
Natasha's Just Brittle will sell her artisan candy and a homemade ice cream made by a local vendor. Mike and Lola's will sell a line of homemade baked goods including cookies and brownies. Lisa's Cafe, a fusion style eatery will offer a brunch, lunch and a children's' menu. The trio brings over three decades of combined experience and each partner is ServSafe certified. All three artisans are extremely passionate about food and entrepreneurship and think crowdfunding is the best way for them to gain exposure and raise funds for this new business venture. Brown-Wainwright says, "This is not only good for artisans who need a licensed kitchen to rent but for the local economy too. We are providing a place where locals and tourist can get all their sweet needs under one roof".
About B'More Sweetery's IndieGoGo Campaign:
The goal of the B'More Sweetery IndieGoGo campaign is to raise $50,000. Any and all funds raised from this campaign will be used to finish the physical location and get it ready for the grand opening in November which includes but is not limited to, interior remodeling, purchasing of cooking equipment, signage, marketing, etc.
This business will not only offer artisans a licensed certified kitchen, professional atmosphere to prepare, showcase and sell their goods, but also provide locals a new establishment that they can enjoy while they support local entrepreneurs.
It is the intentions of the owners to use this as a model for future sweeteries.
Contributors to this campaign can benefit from perks such as an appearance on a B'More Sweetery billboard or in a commercial, V.I.P. guest treatment for one year, name written on B'More Sweetery Wall of Fame and much more.
