Local Survivor Puts Violence Behind Her and Evolves Into Publishing

Graduate Student at Buffalo State Announces Company Launch

    LOCKPORT, NY, December 11, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jessica Cassick, 26, used to live in a world of life altering decisions and Domestic Violence that would threaten her and her unborn baby's lives.After her final encounter with her abuser, he was taken away in handcuffs and she and her infant went to a safe house. Now, almost five years later, she announces her return to her origin and her passion.

On January 1, 2017, Cassick will launch a brand new and innovative publishing company specializing in children's literature. "Fate has a way of interweaving your decisions into the bigger picture. I let go of my past in October, and I'm picking up my son's future," says owner and CEO of imagineWe, LLC Jessica Cassick.

The company is located inside of ART247, an art gallery, at 247 Market St Suite 201 in Lockport, NY. It will be releasing 12 books in the first year, each one around the first business day of each month. Her first series, "Typically Untypical & Extraordinary" spotlights children living unique lives. Each individual book of this series will be part of a fundraiser for each child's family. The first book of this series, "We Heart Nolan," written by Cassick will be released on February 1st following their first release, "Skipping Stones."

ImagineWe, LLC is now selling their First Annual Calendar featuring six amazing artists from around the world and the covers of their first two books. Funds collected will go towards increasing the illustration budget for the rest of the books for the 2017 year. Customers may purchase all books and calendar at their website. About the CEO
Jessica Cassick is a Survivor of Domestic Violence and now a graduate student at Buffalo State, where she studies Creative studies after obtaining her bachelor's in science at Buffalo State and her associates at Niagara County Community College. She will be taking an independent study to work on her company in the coming semester.
