In his role at Location Labs, Agarwal will help accelerate the company's business development efforts and design the go-to-market strategy for new and existing product initiatives. This announcement comes on the heels of the company launching its Location-as-a Service Platform earlier this month.
Agarwal, who most recently held the position of VP of Business Development, and Sales at Plusmo Inc. (AT&T), brings significant sales, mobile and business development experience to Location Labs. During his tenure with Plusmo, the company's sales and market ranking catapulted, making it the #1 provider of mobile widgets before its acquisition by AT&T (AT&T Interactive, Yellow Pages, Division). Prior to his work at AT&T Agarwal was founder/CEO of Greennote.com, a leading venture-backed company in the social networking and microfinance space. In addition to this entrepreneurial work, Agarwal also held management roles at Mercury Interactive, Hewlett-Packard and Oracle Corporation.
