/24-7PressRelease/ - NEW DELHI, INDIA, February 04, 2007 - In Lockheed Martin's exhibit at Aero India this February the corporation will highlight its broad range of products with potential applications in India. Most of these products have potential to support the growing strategic military relationship between the India and the United States. While 2007 marks the sixth time that Lockheed Martin has participated in Aero India, this year's presence will be much larger than in past years.

An F-16 aircraft is expected to perform daily flight demonstrations at Aero India. The F-16 flying in the show will be from the U.S. Air Force's Pacific Air Force (PACAF) Command and is normally based with a combat-ready squadron. Flown by a USAF pilot, it will demonstrate the high performance and agility that have become trademarks of the F-16.

A C-130J airlifter will be on static display at the show. The C-130J aircraft builds on the basic C-130's long record of service and reliability. It has state-of-the-art features including a glass cockpit, updated propulsion system and a fully integrated digital architecture. C-130Js are proving their performance around the world today both in combat and humanitarian relief missions.

Other Lockheed Martin products on display or shown in exhibit form at the Air Show will include the P-3 maritime patrol aircraft, which is a candidate for India's Long Range Maritime Reconnaissance Anti-submarine Warfare (LRMRASW); the PAC-3, which has been the technology pathfinder for today's modern missile defense systems.

Also available will be information on the MH-60R, the U.S. Navy's new maritime-dominance helicopter designed for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare. Superior to the SH-60B and SH-60F aircraft that it replaces, the MH-60R features a glass cockpit and significant mission system improvements, which give it unmatched capability as an airborne multi-mission naval platform.

Lockheed Martin will also have a fully functional F-16 cockpit simulator at the show for private demonstrations to senior government and military personnel. It will feature the latest displays and sensor systems which are available today in advanced versions of the F-16 aircraft.
