Lonnie R. Rex Celebrated by Marquis Who's Who for Almost 45 Years of Invaluable Contributions to His Field

    SPRING, TX, December 13, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lonnie R. Rex has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With nearly four and a half decades of practiced industry experience, Dr. Rex has parlayed his knowledge into a variety of different roles. Before obtaining a professional position, he attended Oklahoma City University and earned a Bachelor of Music. He proceeded to become the advertising manager for Oral Roberts Evangelical Association in 1955, where he remained for two years before starting a 12-year stint as a business manager for T.L. Osborn Foundation. The following 11 years consisted of serving as a general manager for Christian Crusade, where he worked until 1980. A year after he started with Christian Crusade, he also took on the positions of secretary and treasurer for David Livingstone Missionary Foundation, which he held for a decade. Most recently, he worked as the president for David Livingstone Missionary Foundation, from 1980 until 1998. In addition to these roles, he has also served as deputy director general for the International Biographical Association and as a speaker for international conferences in England, Hungary, Korea, Singapore, Spain and New York City.

A shining example of skill in his field, Dr. Rex has pursued numerous other higher degrees, in addition to a Bachelor of Music. In 2000, he earned a Doctor of Letters from Wesley Synod in England, as well as four honorary doctorates through the American Bible Institute, Wesley Synod (twice), and Methodist Wesley. In order to maintain a connection to his field, he affiliates himself with the Global Agency for International Development Partnerships, the Oral Roberts Association and the World Wide Compassion Missions. Notably, he parlayed his knowledge into a book, "Never a Child," which was published in 1989.

Dr. Rex has won many awards for his work, including the Service to Mankind Award from the International Biographical Congress, the World Humanitarian Leadership Award from M. Susan Savage, and the Roseland Cook Bronze Award from the David Livingstone Foundation. He has also had the honor of being named to honors publications such as Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who in Religion, where he was featured in their fourth edition. Looking ahead, Dr. Rex intends to continue sharing his knowledge with others.
