Lake Buena Vista Hotel in the Marriott Village has been welcoming guests since mid-March for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival that goes until June 1, 2008.
Complete with fanciful florals featuring over 70 Disney characters made out of flowers and other plants, including Goofy riding a six-foot wave, Mickey and Minnie chilling at the beach, Donald Duck and Daisy playing volleyball, all while Pluto watches from a lifeguard stand. Along with characters, gardens will be highlighted throughout the park. Guests are also invited to participate in daily gardening seminars, while young "green thumbs" have the chance to work in children's gardens and learn about how things grow. A butterfly house, Flower Power concert series, Pluto's Play Zone and other activities and events, are all available to the public (with park fees) until June 1.
