With more than five years of professional experience, Ms. Hernandez specializes in community-oriented policing services and is responsible for detecting and investigating cases. She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by the police officers in her community who had a positive impact on her. A 2007 recipient of the Officer of the Month Award and a four-time recipient of the Letter of Commendation, she was also recognized as one of the Top Cops of 2007 and has been nominated for the Officer of the Year Award. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her mother.
Ms. Hernandez received her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2001 and aspires to continue her professional growth in the future.
