The addition to the fleet is a 206B JetRanger III helicopter, which will be used for charter flights, sightseeing and aerial photographs and filming.
The Bell 206 JetRanger helicopter is capable of seating four passengers in addition to the pilot. It is a single engine turbine helicopter that is produced by Bell Helicopters head quartered in Fort Worth Texas. This aircraft comes from a family of aircraft that were originally developed for the United States Army, and have since been marketed for private helicopter pilots as well as commercial use. It is considered to be a light utility helicopter.
The 206B JetRanger has a maximum cruising speed of around 136 miles per hour, and is able to make an initial climb of up to 1,540 feet per minute. Its main rotor has a diameter of 33 feet, with an overall height of 9 feet seven inches.
