MIDLAND, TX, November 8, 2008, Martin A. Morris, Jr. knows first-hand how it feels to lose a job as the result of downsizing. But, instead of griping about the experience, he decided to research, write and publish a book that would provide practical advice to other outplaced people. The result: "Losing Your Job Could Be A Blessing In Disguise!"

Losing Your Job Could Be A Blessing In Disguise! offers practical advice such as: "Don't waste your time seeking to blame yourself or someone else for your situation -- move on and make yourself a better person" and "Don't burn any bridges, particularly with your former employer." Mr. Morris also provides suggestions about using outplacement services, resume writing, seeking competent professional advice and keeping one's family advised of your progress (or lack thereof) in seeking your next position.

Mr. Morris is a founder of Authors' Publishing House. Founded in 2005, the company helps selected authors promote and sell their books through a unique book stock program. "We decided to establish Authors' Publishing House upon realizing that authors often do not get the treatment they deserve from smaller publishers and major publishing houses," explained Mr. Morris. "Our extensive website explains how we operate and we welcome questions from first-time authors, as well as those published by other houses."

Other books by Mr. Morris include: "How to Upsize Your Career" (2005), "Where Did You Find That, Volume 1" (2006), and "Where Did You Find That, Volume 2" (2007). He is a Distinguished Toastmaster, a Certified Data Processor through the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals and holds a Master's Degree in Managerial Economics from The University of Oklahoma.
