    /24-7PressRelease/ - LOUISVILLE, KY, August 27, 2007 - Last week the Ideal Smile Makeover Contest winner, Paula Gill, finally received her new smile from The Center for Ideal Dentistry, which included two titanium implants and 10 porcelain veneers. Dr. Vittitow and Dr. Hahn of The Center for Ideal Dentistry are the only accredited cosmetic dentists with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in Louisville and are known for their beautiful and lasting smile rejuvenations. Their artistry brought tears to Paula Gill after she saw her new smile for the first time.
Her journey was a long one as she required extensive rebuilding. After her first visit Paula was given an outline of what we would do for her to give her a beautiful and functional smile. Her treatment included:

Digital Radiographs which have significantly less radiation than traditional ones
Mounted study models for an accurate smile evaluation
Custom wax smile model so that she could preview what her smile would look like
Dental Hygiene evaluation and treatment to control tissue health

Removal of hopeless teeth
Bone grafting to preserve the bone for implant placement
Composite/white restorations to replace ugly failing silver mercury fillings
Titanium "Astra Tech" implants
Custom zirconium (white porcelain) abutments(attachments) over the implants
Porcelain veneers, onlays and crowns to rebuild her teeth
Custom temporaries to help design function and esthetics of the final restorations
