Mr. Sumner is pursuing a Master of Science in information technology management and project management from Colorado Technical University. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and project management from Colorado Technical University. He is a member of the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association and a SEN two-time recipient of the One Million Accident Free Miles Safe Driver award. He is a two-time recipient of the U.S. Army Meritorious Service Award. He was also distinguished with a Silver Order of Mercury medal from the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
