Mainpine Announces Appointment of New President and CEO
Fax Industry Veteran and Strategist to Lead Mainpine's Intelligent Fax Board Strategy as it Sets Sights on Market Expansion

/24-7PressRelease/ - PORTLAND, OR - March 08, 2006 - Mainpine Inc., an industry innovator in the global intelligent fax hardware arena, today announced that Lloyd Johnson has assumed the position of President and CEO of Mainpine, Inc. Johnson has twenty-five years of executive experience, fifteen of those in the fax industry.

In 1990 Johnson founded CommercePath, Inc., which launched the production fax market. Johnson played a key role in helping shape the overall strategy of CommercePath which quickly became the leading supplier of production fax servers. Under Johnson's leadership, CommercePath won the "Best Production Fax Server" award for five consecutive years. CommercePath was acquired by AVT Corp., the parent company of RightFax, Inc. in 1997. In 1999, Johnson became Vice President of RightFax when CommercePath and RightFax merged. In 2001 AVT Corp changed its name to Captaris.

Johnson holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
