About the 2008 Hyundai Sonata:
The 2008 Sonata is available in a choice of two engines â "a base 2.4-liter, Inline 4, 162 hp, and an optional 3.3-liter, V-6 @ 234 hp. These come in three different trims â "the GLS, SE and Limited. It comes with transmission options of an auto-manual 4-speed automatic with overdrive, a 5-speed automatic with overdrive, and an auto-manual and 5-speed manual with overdrive.
The 2008 Hyundai Sonata has increased in size as well for this model year. It is longer and taller by two inches, adding more comfort and leg room. The standard wheelbase is 16 inches; but the higher models, the SE and Limited have a 17-inch wheelbase.
The five-seat 2008 Hyundai Sonata has been given extra space in the interiors for this year; among the feature packed Sonataâ s standard highlights are: a tilting steering wheel, to which you can be add telescoping feature in the SE and Limited, a CD/MP3 audio system with XM Satellite Radio which is standard for all trims, power windows, keyless entry with alarm, air conditioning, cruise control and heated mirrors.
