Manon Tanguay, Ph.D., Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Human Resources and Change Management

    MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA, March 15, 2013, Manon Tanguay, Ph.D., Industrial Psychologist and Project Manager, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in human resources and change management.

Dr. Tanguay is an independent consultant with extensive experience as a psychologist in organizational intervention, change management and human resources. She works with clients in the banking, entertainment, retail and manufacturing industries, and possesses exceptional skill in leading teams through major organizational transformations. With more than 19 years of achievement in the fields of business and health, she is uniquely qualified to help companies with change management. Dr. Tanguay's skills include re-engineering human resources and implementing enterprise resource planning systems. She is typically involved in projects that last for about a year.

Dr. Tanguay's experience as a consultant in many industries has allowed her to expand the breadth of knowledge she possesses in project management and change management. She also possesses an impressive academic background, having earned a Ph.D. in industrial psychology and a Master of Science in the psychology of aging, both from Universite de Montreal, as well as a certificate in industrial psychology. Her current clients include Mondou, a company that distributes pet food and accessories and has 55 stores in Quebec. She has also worked for Cirque de Soleil and handled major transformation for Bank National, Canada, and Hôpital Maisonneuve. At the national grocery retailer Sobeys, where she worked for one year, Dr. Tanguay was part of a team of five project managers working on change management. Her area of responsibility was human resources, and she ensured that the company offered the right training for employees. She conducted 12 classes, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for many weeks to ensure they were ready, and coordinated a party after the company's goal was achieved. She arranged for prizes to be awarded to those employees who had made the greatest contributions.

Dr. Tanguay's projects sometimes entail her involvement in hiring new people. In these situations, she handles contract negotiations, profiles the jobs, does the interviewing and helps in employee selection. In addition, she does succession planning and career path planning.

Dr. Tanguay earned the ESSEC Prize in 2012 for her work with Sobeys. Also in 2012, she was given a Gold Medal Award by SAP for the best implementation in retail involving change management, human resources re-engineering, and policy and procedure development.
