Paradise Musik Festival 2007
Following the success of last year's Paradise Musik Festival at the Sohail Castle in Fuengirola, the Ministry of Sound is preparing for this year's highly anticipated event. Paradise 2007 will take place at the 18th-century Mansion of Eden on 21 July, with big-name DJs and live acts planned to keep revelers dancing well into the small hours. But it's not only the music and the free-flowing drinks that are making entrance to the festival this summer's hottest ticket, but the stunning surroundings and magnificent views. The finca boasts 10,000-square-metres of lush exotic gardens, and will provide the perfect backdrop to the festival's state-of-the-art lighting and special visual effects. With three open-air stages and 40 artists, the festival is sure to be one of the most memorable events of the summer, so catch some all-important shut-eye beforehand. Lionel Richie At The Puente Romano, Marbella
The five-star Hotel Puente Romano on the Golden Mile has a musical extravaganza planned to celebrate the summer. American soul singer Lionel Richie will be the first to occupy the hotel when he performs to an intimate crowd on 31 July. R&B fans can expect performances of his old tunes with The Commodores as well as new tracks from his latest album, Coming Home. Tickets priced from 70 to 150 euros.

Liza Minelli At The Puente Romano, Marbella
As if that wasn't enough to whet our cultural appetite, Liza Minelli - Cabaret starlet and ex-wife of jungle king David Gest - will also be performing at the prestigious hotel. Scheduled for 8 August, Liza with a "z" will be belting out some of her most familiar sing-along-songs, in addition to a sneaky preview of her new album (according to insider gossip, Liza even raps on one of the tracks!). Three Stars, One Show
Jos Feliciano, George Benson & Al Jarreau At The Plaza de Toros, Estepona
Everyone likes a bargain, which is why Marbella's music lovers are flocking to Estepona's Plaza de Toros for a three-for-the-price-of-one concert, starring Jos Feliciano, George Benson and Al Jarreau. Singer and guitarist Jos Feliciano has recently released his first English album, Soundtrack of My Life, to rave reviews. Born blind, Feliciano has never allowed his disability to hold him back and has become one of the greatest musicians of our generation. He'll be joined by George Benson, who - despite starting his career as a jazz guitarist - is better known for his soul songs, with hits including Give Me The Night. Completing the set will be Al Jarreau, most famous for his worldwide smash, Girl from Ipanema, Interestingly, Jarreau is the only artist in history to have won three grammies in three separate categories, including jazz, pop and R&B. The three masters will be performing on 28 July, tickets priced from 35 euros.

Julio Iglesias At The Las Dunas Beach Hotel & Spa, Estepona, And The Hotel Los Monteros, Marbella
The Las Dunas Beach Hotel & Spa and the Hotel Los Monteros will both play host to Spanish crooner Julio Iglesias on 31 July and 3 August, respectively. As well as an intimate audience with the heartthrob himself, diehard fans at both concerts will be treated to an early-evening cocktail before indulging in a sumptuous gala dinner. With tickets priced at 1,500 euros per person, you'd have to be really besotted to catch these dates.
