Marc J. Chenier, CD, has been Named an Executive of the Year in IT Operations Management

Chenier, Senior Director of IT Security and Infrastructure Technology for RDM Corp, has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in IT Operations Management. With nearly three decades of experience in the information technology industry, Mr. Chenier is an esteemed executive whose areas of expertise include technology transformation, IT security, service delivery management, financial management, strategic planning, project management, and more. Since June 2015, he has utilized his experience and expertise in his position as senior director of IT Security and Infrastructure for the financial services company RDM Corp. Mr. Chenier plays a key role in the company, which specializes in Remote Deposit Capture and complex desktop remittance processing solutions. He oversees all aspects of RDM's systems relating to corporate and production IT, network operating infrastructure, security and telecommunications. Mr. Chenier also works with both internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and direct IT activities, as well as provide strategic solutions and recommendations that support continued business growth opportunities. He manages a team of seven direct reports, and reports directly to the chief executive officer and chief financial officer of the company.

As a retired Warrant Officer, Mr. Chenier attributes his success to a strong military background and excellent leadership training that has enabled him to lead with confidence and achieve success in support NATO/UN conflict and civilian operations. He served 22 years in the Communication Signal Corp of the Canadian Armed Services prior to his retirement from the military in 2001. Mr. Chenier has since been able to utilize his soft skills and technical background to become a highly effective senior technology leader. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue to influence, develop and promote growth for the companies and people he supports and leads with an eventual goal of becoming a Chief Information Officer, or Chief Executive Officer of a technology-based company.
