Marcia Joy Manville Williams Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who

    HIGH POINT, NC, September 1, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marcia Joy Manville Williams, Teacher (Retired) for Thomasville City Schools and Westchester Academy, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.

Ms. Williams has 35 years of professional experience in teaching kindergarten through fifth-grade students, English for seventh through ninth-grade students, music and language arts. She also wrote her own music and programs and has published a song book. She started The Kindergarten Program at Liberty Driving School. In the August 10, 1987 edition of Newsweek magazine, Ms. Williams was quoted in the article "The Big Grind in Kindergarten," which was published in the NAEYC Magazine in 1986.

In 1988, Ms. Williams received her Master of Education in Early Childhood Education, from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and a former member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She received the Teacher of the Year award in 1975-76 and attributes her success to her faith in God and the support she receives from her family.
