Maria Luisa Fulgueira Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Business Administration

In 1976, Ms. Fulgueira became the first female chief executive officer of a multinational company located in Bolivia. In 1990, she accomplished the same in Argentina, and in 1995, she became the first Latin American female director of a multinational company. After retiring from a 40-year career as a corporate manager, she recognized an opportunity, and used her skill set and years of experience to found Daltosur S.R.L.

The owner and chief executive officer of a leading distribution company in chemical raw materials, Ms. Fulgueira oversees the daily functions of the company, directs sales and marketing initiatives, and visits trade shows to promote the company and network with other professionals as well as contact new suppliers. She is proficient in business generation and management, business finance and administration and trade show networking, and applies these skills to providing value-based services and solutions appropriate to the clients' specific marketplaces.

A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Fulgueira earned an MBA from the University of Sao. She was named One of 100 Argentinian Leaders by Apertura Magazine, the equvalent of Forbes in the United States. She is a member of local chapters of the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists and the founder and president of the Argentine Forum for Executive Women. She is also a member of the International Women's Forum, the Argentinian Institute of Finance Executives and the American Chamber of Commerce.

Looking forward, Ms. Fulgueira hopes to make Daltosur S.R.L. the leading chemical distribution company in all of Latin America. She also plans to serve as a mentor to others, and continue growing both personally and professionally.
