With more than 32 years of professional experience, Ms. Blair specializes in elementary education and is responsible for overseeing students' discipline and coordinating with teachers, bus drivers and cafeteria staff. She became involved in her profession because of her desire to work with children and attributes her success to her ability to build relationships with students. A recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award for her excellence in teaching, Ms. Blair earned her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Bowie State University in 1976. She is affiliated with the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Her goals for the future include rising to the position of principal and teaching English in Russia.
