At the start of his career, he joined Hahnemann University as a senior instructor. Eventually, he obtained the role of associate professor at the University. Subsequently, Dr. Sebastianelli became the chief of nephrology and founding director of hemodialysis for Moses Taylor Hospital. Over the years, he held similar roles for Community Medical Center in Scranton, and the Pennsylvania Regional Tissue Bank. He is also the founder of Comprehensive Health Services Center, where he is a medical practitioner.
A graduate of the University of Scranton, summa cum laude, and Jefferson Medical College where he was elected in his junior year to Alpha Omega Alpha, Dr. Sebastianelli holds a Bachelor of Science in biology, as well as an MD. In order to remain active in the field, he affiliates himself with the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Renal Physicians Association, and the American and International Society of Nephrology. He served on the Pennsylvania Governor's Renal Disease Advisory Committee.
A diplomate through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Sebastianelli has been noted many times for his work in the field.
