Mark A. Touby Honored for Outstanding Contributions in Law

Mr. Touby hopes to contribute to change in workers' compensation

    CORAL GABLES, FL, May 15, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark A. Touby of Touby, Chait & Sicking, PL, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law.

Having amassed 20 years in the legal field, Mr. Touby now centers his practice on workers' compensation. He provides clients with various services and consultations in the areas of personal injury, unemployment claims, social security, public employee pensions, and other employment and injury-related matters.

Looking ahead, Mr. Touby intends to contribute to the firm's continued success. He would also like to be recognized as a leader in workers' compensation by way of contributing to changes that will affect rules and policies. Mr. Touby has already pursued these interests by involving himself with various groups, such as the Workers' Compensation Rules Advisory Committee, for which he serves as chair, and as a member of the Executive Council of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Florida Bar.

Further, he is the treasurer of the Florida Workers' Advocates. Mr. Touby achieved board certification in workers' compensation in 2011. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1995 with a JD and holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Florida, which he earned in 1992.

Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Mr. Touby was named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell in 2005 and each year since. In 2015, Mr. Touby was named a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters and Florida Legal Elite by Florida Trend.
