chaired and organized an event to salute the great men and women who protect our country.Mark has been a member of World Presidents' Organization (WPO) ever since 1988.The men and women were hosted to an incredible private party on the deck of the USS Bataan, and a concert followed later.Every Executive Officer and Commanding Officer were present including Captain "JC" Carter.The Rear Admiral and the Vice Admiral gave their speeches as guests mingled freely.Mark Begelman said that this event made him proud, and it is no wonder why we are the most powerful country on earth."Go Navy!" were Mark's final words.

has always had a strong liking for underprivileged kids, music, arts, health, and education.The foundation has helped both local and international charities including The Humane Society, The American Red Cross, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cystic Fibrosis, and much more. Mark and his wife of more than 36 years, Pam Begelman, provide support and assistance to the many in need.In 2015 alone, Markee Music offered more than 4400 music lessons.With a total of 7 music studios, adults and children learn all types of music instruments from the finest music instructors.
With all his accomplishments, Mark Begelman sits pretty on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame board as he chairs the Begelman Foundation.
